You know what the name stands for

Alfa Romeo will showcase two limited edition versions of its go-fast Quadrifoglio models at the Geneva Motor Show. Both are called NRING in honor of the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife racetrack where most of their development has taken place.

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio NRING and Giulia Quadrifoglio NRING make extensive use of carbon fiber and come loaded with unique features. Only 108 units of each model will be made, one for each year of the history of Alfa Romeo. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio NRING celebrates the model's 7:51.7 lap that made it the quickest production SUV on the Nürburgring. As for the Giulia Quadrifoglio NRING, it marks the model's 7:32 lap set on the same circuit.

Both cars feature a unique Circuito Grey livery and are loaded with goodies. Those include a numbered badge in the carbon fiber dashboard insert, Sparco racing seats with red stitching and carbon shell structure, Mopar automatic transmission knob with carbon insert, leather/Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with carbon inserts, and Mopar floor mats with red logo.

The performance part remains untouched, with both cars featuring the 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 gasoline engine that makes 510 metric horsepower and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque. In the Giulia Quadrifoglio, the engine is linked to either a six-speed manual or a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission that send power to the rear wheels, while in the Stelvio only the automatic is offered with standard Q4 all-wheel-drive.
