Honda is performing a nip and tuck for the 2019 HR-V and 2019 Pilot SUVs with subtle changes here and there

Those in the market for a new 2019 Honda HR-V can now choose two extra trims – Sport and Touring. On the tech front, the 2019 HR-V bags a new Display Audio setup compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto while mechanical retouches were aimed at the standard CVT, power steering setup and all-wheel drive system.

Safety wise, the 2019 HR-V sees the introduction of Honda’s Sensing package offered as standard from the EX trim upwards. It includes a collision mitigating braking system, road departure mitigation, lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.The refreshed 2019 Honda HR-V goes on sale July 24.

As for the 2019 Honda Pilot, the list of changes involves subtle aesthetic tweaks for a quote-unqoute more aggressive exterior styling. As with the HR-V, the Pilot also sees its nine-speed auto gearbox improved for a more refined behavior.

Pilot passengers get better connectivity in the shape of 4G LTE in-car Wi-Fi, a larger rear entertainment system that’s Blu-Ray compatible and can also perform video streaming.

Honda’s CabinTalk setup and a new Display Audio touchscreen infotainment setup with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that supports over-the-air updates also make the cut inside the revamped 2019 Pilot. The revised 2019 Honda Pilot goes on sale July 16.
