It’s the first Subaru Impreza assembled on American soil
Wrapped in four trim levels, the 2017 Subaru Impreza is bound to reach dealerships late 2016 with the CVT, and early 2017 with the five-speed manual.
The entry-level Impreza 2.0i starts at $18,395, which is $100 over the previous model. Standard features include a 6.5-inch infotainment screen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and power windows.
Go one level higher and the 2.0i Premium trim offers Subaru's Starlink safety bundle, an all-weather package with heated seats and 16-inch alloy wheels, for a starting sticker of $21,195.
For the 2.0i Sport, Subaru kept in store a retuned suspension setup, 18-inch alloys and their active torque vectoring gizmo. It costs $21,995, an $800 increase over the Premium trim, but it decorates the interior through black upholstery with red stitching and Sport gauges.
For the most demanding clients, there's the Subaru Impreza 2.0i Limited, which sits at the top of the range with a price tag of $24,095.
Chrome detailing on the outside, Konoji LED daytime running lights and 17-inch alloy rims are joined inside the cabin by the leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shifter, push-button start and an 8-inch Starlink multimedia unit.
The 2017 Impreza is the first model underpinned by Subaru's New Global Platform which promises more sportiness through increased lightness and more torsional rigidity.
