Promises to be the Zlatan Ibrahimović of estates
The Volvo V60 2019 range is expanded to fit in the all-new 2019 Volvo V60 Cross Country mid-size wagon.
In essence, the new V60 Cross Country sits 75 mm higher up the ground than the regular Volvo V60 2018 and we’re told that it also gets “specially developed Cross Country chassis and suspension.”
Moreover, all-wheel drive comes as standard, together with a bundle that includes the likes of hill descent control, ESC, corner traction control, and the addition of an Off-Road driving mode.
On the safety front, the all-new Volvo V60 Cross Country retains its peers’ proficiency: City Safety with Autobrake is a standard feature, as is the Oncoming Lane Mitigation function.
The new Volvo V60 Cross Country relies on the familiar Sensus Connect infotainment system (compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) which revolves around the tablet-like touchscreen used to interact with the car’s systems and functions.

Volvo is offering the new V60 Cross Country in T5 AWD guise (that’s the petrol powertrain) and D4 AWD (yup, the diesel) According to Volvo, the V60 Cross Country will also get mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid iterations “at a later stage.”
