2017 Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 Priced from $51,300

The 400 hp sports coupe is a BMW M4 alternative that costs two-thirds of the money

Infiniti has announced U.S. pricing for the all-new 2017 Q60 Red Sport 400 performance model which arrives in dealerships this month.

Available in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations, the Q60 Red Sport 400 starts at $51,300 (RWD) and $53,300 (AWD), respectively. Prices do not include a $905 destination and handling fee.

The flagship of the Q60 lineup is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 gasoline engine which delivers 400 hp and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque, making the Q60 Red Sport 400 the brand's most powerful production sports coupe ever. The engine is available exclusively with a seven-speed automatic transmission.

The Red Sport 400 stands out from lesser Q60 models thanks to the larger brakes with red painted calipers, a performance-tuned Digital Dynamic Suspension, dedicated exhaust tips, unique 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and chrome finished red "S" exterior badging. Infiniti also offers an exclusive color for the Q60 Red Sport 400 called Dynamic Sunstone Red.

Inside, the Q60 Red Sport 400 gets semi-aniline leather sport seats, and aluminum-accented pedals and paddle shifters, among other things.
