2017 Nissan Versa Note Drops All Its Secrets

Looks emulate Sentra, Altima, and Maxima

Three days have passed since we showed you the camo-free 2017 Nissan Versa Note riding on a platform in the Motor City and now Nissan goes public with more details on the model.

The revised Versa Note adheres to Nissan's design expression embedded in models like Sentra and Maxima courtesy of the brand's V-motion grille flanked by the swept-back headlights.

Standard revision gimmicks include redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels, larger cupholders inside, a second 12-volt power outlet and the relocation of the USB port on the center console.

Hardware remains unchanged under the hood, where the 2017 Versa Note hides the same 1.6-liter 16-valve four-cyl petrol engine (109 hp) connected to Nissan's Xtronic transmission. EPA-estimated fuel consumption averages in at 39 mpg.

Additionally, four trim levels instead of five split the range: S Plus, SV, SR, and SL, after Nissan dropped the entry-level Versa Note S version.
