Audi Elongates the Audi A8. Meet the L Extended

The 2017 A8 L extended is Audi responding to some deep-pocketed clients’ request.

Although we've seen this arrangement before (Binz is offering a six-door E-Class nowadays), it is weird to see a six-seater limo with six doors, and with all the seats facing forward.

Audi lengthened the A8 L with 1.09 meters (that's 3.57 feet) in over 12 months for its rich-and-extravagant client (isn't this a pleonasm?). A 19.7-foot long, six-door stretched sedan that you can use to drive your family in proper luxury.

Under its bonnet, it DOESN'T have the impressive W12 (#iknowright?). It lacks even the twin-turbo V8, folks! Instead, it uses an absolutely normal 3.0-liter V6, a TFSI unit with 310 hp and enough push to reach 62 mph (from a standstill) in just 7.1 seconds. For a 5,331-pound vehicle (we'll call it 'family car' because of its V6), that's not bad at all. As for stopping force, it hides under the 19 in wheels brake disks from the S8.

But not the power is the real deal here and we all (should) know it. Because under the 2.4-meter long panoramic roof, you'll find Valcona leather upholstery and the finest wood ornaments – the third row of seats has its own coolbox and infotainment system, so there's the place you'd want to be in.

I don't want to be rude or something, but I'll probably be: I'd go for a longer Q7 at any given moment instead of the A8. What Audi model would YOU choose?
