Hyundai has tweaked the look of its Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport US market SUVs while also updating the tech. The models now feature redesigned front and rear fascias, new-designed alloys, new rocker panel (side skirt) design, as well as optional LED DRLs up front coupled with LED fog lights.

Following along the typical lines of such updates, the Korean automaker has also updated the cars’ interior. In this case, the only really notable change is the addition of a new seven-inch touchscreen unit that can be optionally upgraded to eight inches; they both support Android Auto, but not Apple Car Play.

Drivers can also now choose one of three driving modes (Eco, Normal, and Sport); these weren’t available before and can now be accessed via the new infotainment interface.

Safety has been addressed too, and both Santa Fes gained lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking with a pedestrian detection function.

You can already order either of the two models now, and they start at $25,350 for the two-row variant and $30,800 for the seven-seater; both come standard with a 2.4-liter naturally-aspirated gas engine and FWD. You can opt for a 2.0-liter turbo with 245 hp in the Sport or an even beefier 3.3-liter V6 in the three-row variant – the latter pumps out 290 hp.
