The RAM Trucks brand was established in 2010 as a Chrysler division. It is nothing more than a spin-off of Dodge, using the name of the popular Dodge Ram line of pickups. Basically, what FCA Fiat Chrysler did was to rebadge the Ram pickups in order to allow Dodge to focus on non-commercial vehicles.
The new brand also sells rebadged and renamed Fiat light commercial vehicles, more specifically two vans: Promaster City and Promaster, as they are called in America. In Europe, the Promaster City is sold as Fiat Doblo, while the Promaster is actually the Ducato.
