2017 Subaru BRZ Series.Yellow Could Make Your Friends Jealous

We all live in the Yellow Sub…aru

Black and yellow is a favorite paint job theme among car nuts, yet it manages to stay on top of the trends as even carmakers are using it. Case in point: Subaru's latest piece, the BRZ Series.Yellow.

Mechanical changes from the standard BRZ include Brembo brakes with four-piston calipers up front and two-piston calipers on the rear, updated coil springs, SACHS Performance shock absorbers, and a larger stabilizer bar. The car's chassis got its fair share of rigidity enhancements in essential spots like the strut tower braces, transmission cross-member plates and wheel housings.

Moreover, Subaru found these changes so dramatic that they renamed the Sport mode, which is now called Track. As one would expect, this also reflects the subtle engine tweaks which led to an increase in power, placing the 2.0-liter boxer engine's output at 205 hp and 156 lb-ft of torque.

New on the outside is the aluminum pedestal-style spoiler, along with the aerodynamically-improved front spoiler cover, and the kono-ji LED headlamps. As for the interior, Subaru BRZ Series.Yellow offers a 4.2-inch display as standard and a refurbished steering wheel with redesigned audio controls.

Pricing details remain unknown for now, but once they come out you should move quick – this special edition Subaru BRZ is limited to just 500 units.
