The limited edition models mark the brand’s first-ever endurance racing Manufacturer’s Championship
Cadillac has announced the release of a Championship Edition for all three of its V-Series high-performance models — the 2018 ATS-V coupe and sedan, and the 2018 CTS-V super sedan.
Released to celebrate Cadillac winning the 2017 IMSA Manufacturer, Driver, Team and Endurance Championships, the special edition models bring both styling and equipment upgrades.
There are only two exterior colors available (Black Raven or Crystal White Tricoat), each featuring Cadillac V-Performance graphics located on hood and rear spoiler. You can also recognize Championship Edition models thanks to the Red Obsession mirror caps, DPi-V.R graphic on the quarter windows, Red Brembo brake calipers, and forged alloy V-Series wheels with Midnight Silver painted pockets (18-inch for the ATS-V, 19-inch for the CTS-V).
Inside, the special status of the ATS-V and CTS-V Championship Edition is clear due to the Morello Red interior detail package that brings Jet Black Recaro race-inspired seats, red front and rear door armrests, as well as Morello-accented high-gloss carbon fiber interior trim.
Equipment-wise, the limited edition models come fully loaded with stuff such as the Performance Data Recorder with Cosworth Toolbox, Rear Camera Mirror, the next-generation Cadillac user experience, and a sunroof.
Prices for the 2018 Cadillac Championship Edition ATS-V start at $72,190 for the sedan and $74,390 for the coupe. As for the 2018 CTS-V Championship Edition sedan, it's priced from $105,730. All prices include destination freight charges.
Cadillac will only build 200 Championship Editions exclusively for North America.
If the Championship Edition doesn't cut it, you should know the CTS-V is also available in a Glacier Metallic Edition.
