2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Makes an Appearance in Fast & Furious Music Video

Nothing does burnouts like a Demon

We're already tired of Dodge's teasing campaign for the 2018 Challenger SRT Demon — does it have to be so long?

Thankfully, we finally get to see the car in all its glory courtesy of the "Get Off" music video, taken from the soundtrack of the upcoming "The Fate of the Furious" movie.

It's already common knowledge that the Challenger Demon has a leading role in the latest installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, and the music video from Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo & Travis Scott features some scenes in which the Demon takes center stage.

Whether it's doing burnouts or taking part involved in car chases, the Challenger SRT Demon looks truly mean — which is what you'd expect from a car named after the devil.

Compared to the more "modest" Challenger SRT Hellcat, the Demon adds a new engine hood with a larger center scoop, flared wheel arches, ridiculously wide drag race-ready wheels and tires, as well as Demon badging on the front fenders. The car also comes with a Drag Mode and an electronically-controlled adaptive suspension.

We still don't know what's under that bulged hood, but most sources agree it's an uprated version of the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine found in the Hellcat. In the Demon, the engine reportedly delivers 757 hp — 50 hp more than the Hellcat. We'll find out less than a month from now, when the car will debut at the New York Auto Show.
