2018 Honda Accord shows bold new face in teaser before July 14 reveal

Will come with turbocharged power plants for the first time

Like the current Honda Civic, the all-new Accord will feature similar styling all around as well as turbocharged engines. Two of its three engines will be force-fed, and transmission options will include a 10-speed automatic too (along with the usual CVT and six-speed manual).

The all-new model has its unveiling event planned for July 14 in Detroit, although you won’t have to be there to see it as it will be broadcast live on YouTube.

Honda says American buyers have purchased over 13-million Accord models since the nameplate debuted on US soil in 1976. Of those, some 11-million were locally manufactured over a 35 year span. The model is the most popular (retail) sedan to be sold Stateside.
