2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition is here and it's got the looks

Not that the standard Wrangler is bland, but this Moab Edition adds extra charm

This is the Wrangler Moab Edition: it takes everything the Wrangler Sahara has to offer but ups the ante by ‘adding special content to the exterior and interior.’

As reported a while ago, Jeep was indeed brewing a Moab Edition for the 2018 Wrangler JL.

It’s the first limited-edition model based on the new Jeep Wrangler and we’re told it ‘honors the long and storied history the brand shares with the annual Easter Jeep Safari.’

In doing that, it packs a Rubicon hood, steel bumpers, and 17-inch wheels, 32-inch mud-terrain tires, LED lights front and back, as well as a Moab decal on side of the hood.

Moreover, the Rubicon rock rails are available as standard on the Moab Edition, but you can also specify the Sahara side steps which come at no extra cost.

Jeep offers nine body colors for the Wrangler Moab Edition, these being Granite Crystal, Billet Silver, Punk’n Metallic, Mojito!, Black, Bright White, Sting Gray, Ocean Blue Metallic, and Firecracker Red.

We’re not done with the goodies list just yet. On the inside, you’ll be able to tell apart the Wrangler Moab Edition from other models thanks to the leather-trimmed seats and dashboard, 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system (offered as standard), and a nine-speaker Alpine sound system.

Also on the menu are the all-weather slush mats and the likes of off-road gear such as Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time two-speed transfer case and Trac-Lok limited-slip rear differential.

The price tag is yet undisclosed, but we expect a related announcement soon.
