2018 Nissan 370Z family retains prices despite offering more

It may be aging, but it’s one of the last old-school sports cars out there

Nissan has announced U.S. pricing for the 2018 370Z lineup, and the good news is the 370Z Coupe, 370Z NISMO, and 370Z Roadster retail for the same amounts as 2017 models.

More specifically, the entry-level 2018 370Z Coupe and 2018 370Z Roadster start from $29,990 and $41,820, respectively. As for the 2018 Nissan 370Z NISMO high-performance version, it starts from $45,690.

The 370Z family adds several enhancements for the 2018 model year, starting with refreshed exteriors that include smoked headlights and taillights, blackout rear fascias, and new 19-inch wheels designs. Nissan has also added a new Passion Red exterior color (not for NISMO models).

Updates go beyond looks, however, and include the driving experience, with Nissan optimizing acceleration and torque profile tuning. Manual models (including the 370Z NISMO Tech 6MT) feature a new motorsports-inspired EXEDY high-performance clutch. Content-wise, there are now two additional speakers (six in total) in the base Coupe and Roadster models.

Also new for 2018 is a new Heritage Edition package available on the base 370Z that offers a choice of two exterior colors: Chicane Yellow with black outside mirrors, gloss black graphics, and yellow interior trim, or Magnetic Black with gloss silver graphics and yellow interior trim.

Under the hood, the base 2018 370Z Coupe and Roadster feature the same 332-hp 3.7-liter V6 mated to either a six-speed manual transmission with an available SynchroRev Match synchronized downshift rev matching system or a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

As for the 2018 370Z NISMO, it continues with the 350-hp 3.7-liter V6 and the same choice of transmissions as lesser models. However, the manual gets SynchroRev Match as standard, while the auto comes with Downshift Rev Matching (DRM), Adaptive Shift Control, and manual shift mode with paddle shifters.
