2018 Renault Mégane R.S. to feature four-wheel steering, two chassis options

This just in from Renault

Nowadays, ever car’s time from inception to the actual launch resembles a mini novel. The upcoming Renault Mégane R.S. makes no exception.

Renault just released a press blurb saying their hot hatch will feature 4Control (the same four-wheel steering system available both on the run-of-the-mill Mégane and Talisman sedan), but with different parameters.

As a result, the new Mégane Renaultsport becomes the first hot hatch capable of steering using both axles.

Furthermore, les French say two chassis choices will be offered – Sport for everyday use and the more hardcore, track-oriented Cup.

Customers will then be able to decide on a manual or a dual-clutch EDC gearbox.

What’s more, Renault brought Renault Sport’s Formula 1 driver Nico Hülkenberg to test the 4Control feature. Find out his impressions in the video below.
