2018 Toyota Sienna Readies for New York with New Front End, Extra Safety and Tech

Will share the stand with the Yaris hatchback

A fresh face and a couple of safety and technology add-ons are the main things to write home about as the 2018 Toyota Sienna debuts at the NYAS.

Design-wise, the soccer mom-approved Toyota Sienna gets a new front fascia, a lower grille, and oversized fog lights. Toyota's press blurb also mentions that the SE grade got a laminated windshield for extra NVH protection.

On the safety front, all Sienna models will feature Toyota's Safety Sense suite consisting of assistance systems like pre-collision with pedestrian detection, radar-based dynamic cruise control, and lane departure alert.

The Entune 3.0 infotainment system rounds up the package with navigation and App Suite Connect. For those with higher expectations, Toyota offers the Entune 3.0 Premium JBL Audio setup which includes features like Dynamic Navigation and Destination Assist plus a more refined sound experience.

Other improvements are the five USB ports spread over all three rows of seats, the Bird's Eye View display (only for the Limited Premium trim), a 4.2-inch TFT info display and three new exterior color choices: Toasted Walnut Pearl, Alumina Jade Metallic, and Parisian Night Pearl.
