Debut could materialize in September
The most affordable Jeep currently on sale is getting the customary nip-and-tuck treatment as it reaches mid-career.
As things stand right now, the revamped Renegade is likely to welcome a fair share of design tweaks rather than mechanical mods.
Judging by the heavy camouflage this particular test mule – spotted in the Swiss Alps – is wearing, then maybe the changes will be more than subtle, as it usually happens nowadays whenever a carmaker refreshes its models.
In this regard, Instagram account renegadejeeps published a photo that shows a Jeep Renegade wearing LED headlights similar to those offered as option on the new JL Wrangler. Moreover, the fog lights seem to occupy more central positions to the sides of the lower grille.
At this point, there is no information regarding new engine options or significant mechanical changes but we’ll get back on the topic as soon as more details surface.
On the cabin front, the same Instagram account showed a picture of the Renegade’s center console, which featured new climate control buttons and the Uconnect 8.4 infotainment system interface.
