Dubbed as “dynamic new LX variant”
Lexus Australia is introducing the LX 570 S, a pumped-up version of the Lexus LX flagship, claiming in the process that the large SUV offers “a bold new look and improve handling for an enhanced driving experience.”
Well, we don’t know about that, but the press release mentions a new body kit, beefier 21-inch alloy wheels, a "front performance damper" and alloy pedals.
The front and rear bumpers are noticeable more aggressive while the mesh pattern of the spindle grille has also been redesigned.
Lexus offers the Australia-bound LX 570 S in two body colors: Sonic Quartz and Starlight Black.
In terms of power, the 5.7-liter V8 produces 270 kW (362 hp) and 530 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque routed through an eight-speed automatic transmission. In this setup, the LX 570 S can tow up to 3,500 kg. It can also carry 138 liters of fuel thanks to a 93-liter main tank and 45-liter additional tanks.
As for price, you’ll have to pay at least AU$168,089, which is a AU$6,500 bump over the model that underpins the LX 570 S, which is the regular LX 570 with the Enhancement Pack.
