The hot hatch promises to make life a living hell for the Audi S3 and BMW 140i

Besides the new GLE and EQC, the Mercedes-Benz stand at the 2018 Paris Motor Show featured a mean little machine that promises loads of fun on the road: the new Mercedes-AMG 35 4Matic.

Yes, it is based on the new Mercedes A-Class but with a list of tweaks that make it very, very desirable. Also quicker.

Moreover, it is set to be less expensive than the upcoming Mercedes-AMG A45, with more or less the same driving thrills – one exception is the A 45’s drift mode recently confirmed by Merc-AMG chief Tobias Moers.

Now, back to the A 35, you’ll recognize one from the sportier bumpers, AMG wheels and rear wing, plus the way its exhaust sounds is set to become its signature.

But before we get to drive one or the first video reviews pop up on YouTube, Carfection’s video below will take you through its quirks and features.

Do check it out!
