Texas buyers will love it

It didn't take Ram too long to release the first special edition version of the all-new 2019 1500. Fresh from the full-size truck's world debut at the Detroit Auto Show, the automaker has unveiled the 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition.

As with its predecessors that used the same name, the truck combines luxury appointments with a southwestern theme, which makes sense since Texas is the brand's largest market in the United States.

You'll recognize Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn models thanks to the standard two-tone RV Match Brown trim or monotone paint, LED headlights and taillights, chrome billet "RAM" grille, chrome bumpers, tow hooks, and side steps, as well as new 20- or 22-inch wheels. The truck also features the belt-buckle badge on the front doors and tailgate.

While the exterior looks nice, it's the interior that gets most of the attention. The Laramie Longhorn is a luxury-oriented special edition model, and that's obvious when looking at the wood, metal, and leather elements that make up the cabin.

It features a segment-exclusive hand-wrapped, full-grain leather dashboard, a new embossed alligator skin pattern leather that covers the center console, instrument panel, seats, and door panel inserts, as well as satin chrome and real barn-wood accents, among other things.

Ambient lighting is also on the menu, as are the heated rear seats with available ventilation. The Laramie Longhorn Edition can be had with any of the engines and body styles of the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 full-size truck.
