Volkswagen is announcing that its US arm has assembled 100,000 Atlas SUVs at its plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Together with this bit of info, the Germans are also communicating the price list for the 2019 VW Atlas SUV.

As things stand, those looking to buy a 2019 Atlas will have to say goodbye to at least $30,895. For this kind of green, Volkswagen will provide the 2-liter engine and the S trim level.

If that’s not enough for your needs or desires, well, models fitted with the 3.6-liter direct injected VR6 engine start at $34,095 for the S 4Motion trim. 

Also keep in mind that the destination charge for VW’s Atlas SUV is $995 (not included in the price tag).

Those looking to acquire the new 2019 Atlas can choose one of the seven trim levels – S, SE, SE with Technology, SE with Technology R-Line, SEL, SEL R-Line, and SEL Premium.

In addition, the 2019 Atlas sees the likes of Front Assist, Blind Spot Monitor, and Rear Traffic Alert become standard features on all models. What’s more, Volkswagen tells us that it Digital Cockpit instrument cluster is a standard feature on SEL models.

Should it interest you, the 100,000th VW Atlas built at the Chattanooga plant wears the Pacific Blue body paint mixed with Shetland V-Tex leatherette on the inside. Under the hood is the VR6 engine, twinned to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
