Carlex Design is the creator of this timeless, bit scary Mercedes interior
Black resembles timelessness. That’s what a Carlex customer probably thought about when he brought his Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG to the Polish studio.
The result, which can be seen in the gallery above, is an all-black sedan adorned in leather, with the only thing other than black being the white thread that stitches it. Areas not covered in leather or plastic (like the car’s ceiling) seem to be enhanced in Alcantara (also black), as far as the pictures reveal.
The car’s exterior follows the same chromatic pattern: as dark as possible, with shy accents in different color. The C63’s body was covered in a gray matte wrap, and the car was fitted multi-spoke aftermarket rims (black, of course) through which red brake calipers can be seen.
As for the mechanical bit, the standard setup still does the job: a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 is responsible for 457 hp, 600 Nm, and a roar that sets shivers down your spine. It may not be as efficient as the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 finding its way under the actual AMG line but a charming aggregate nevertheless.
