A Spider For a Hero. Jay Leno's Gift For A Wounded Veteran

Spc. Stephanie Morris has a Purple Heart. And a Fiat 124 Abarth Spider

Jay Leno surely knows how to surprise wounded veterans.

Stephanie Morris is a Purple Heart veteran who was badly wounded in an attack in Afghanistan that killed her team and left her femur in pieces. She fought to keep her right leg, undergoing three dozen surgeries and spending three years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, to no avail. On the Fourth of July 2016, her leg was finally amputated.

But she's a fighter, and her participation in the Warrior Games this year shows an impressive strength of character. This is why Jay Leno chose her to receive a Fiat 124 Abarth Spider as a gift from Fiat-Chrysler, on an emotional trip through Virginia.

Watch the video below. And try not to weep.
