Acura TLX Wears New GT Racing-Inspired Package at SEMA 2016

Because motorsport heritage is important

SEMA preparations differ from one carmaker to another. For example, Acura came up with a sportier ethos for the 2016 and 2017 TLX.

The TLX GT Pack addresses some customers' need for sharper looks with "a rear decklid spoiler, front spoiler, side sill garnishes and rear underbody spoiler."

To complete the bundle, Acura dropped a set of 19-inch diamond-cut rims into the mix, but let the mechanical chapter as it was.

That means the Acura TLX can be had with either the 2.4-liter, 206 hp, inline-four powerplant and eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, or the 3.5-liter, 290 hp, iVTEC V6 powerplant mated to a nine-speed DCT transmission and SH-AWD (that's Acurese for super handling all-wheel drive).

The former choice can be further imbued with the Technology Package, while the latter welcomes both the Technology and the Advance bundles.
