They say it looks, drives and feels really good and only has minor niggles
Alfa Romeo seems to have created a pretty capable SUV in the form of the Stelvio, even if it hasn’t exactly hit the ball out of the park in terms of sales. The Giulia-based high-rider is getting really good reviews in the US (after impressing in Europe first), being praised for looking nice and driving really pleasantly, as well as for its interior which is much better than anybody seems to have been expecting.
It reportedly feels quite sporty to drive (especially with the optional sport pack specified), yet remains comfortable and composed, and according to reviewers its four-cylinder engines are gutsy enough to make it feel effortless for the most part.
Its looks also seem to be generally pleasing, especially since its rakish body apparently doesn’t impair visibility (especially out the back where these tapered-rear SUVs usually suffer). Oh, and it apparently looks better in the metal than it does on your screen.
