All-New 2017 Citroën C3 Priced from €12,950 in France

The C3 will definitely allow you to stand out in a sea of boring superminis

The third-generation Citroën C3 is already available to order in France, although the model's world debut will take place at the Paris Motor Show later this month.

Borrowing many design cues from the C4 Cactus, including the Airbumps, the funky-looking C3 is available in three trim levels: Live, Feel, and Shine. The starting price for the entry-level model in France is €12,950 (approximately $14,500).

The all-new Citroën C3 is all about customization. Available in nine body colors and three roof colors, the new C3 offers a total of 36 exterior combinations, regardless of trim level. In addition to the two-tone paint scheme, customers can also choose their preferred color for the mirror caps, fog lamp surrounds, and Airbumps, which are standard on Shine trim level models and optional on Feel models.

For the interior, Citroën offers four design schemes available from the Feel trim level: standard, Metropolitan Grey, Urban Red, and Hype Colorado. A panoramic glass roof is available from the Feel trim level.

Customers will be able to choose from three gasoline engines and two diesel units, all turbocharged. The petrol lineup consists exclusively of three-cylinder units (1.0-liter PureTech 68, 1.2-liter PureTech 82, and 1.2-liter PureTech 110) while the diesels have four cylinders (1.6-liter BlueHDi 75 and 1.6-liter BlueHDi 100). Shortly after launch, the new C3 will be available with the EAT6 automatic gearbox.

Technology-wise, the C3 offers features like rear park assist, Connect Nav navigation system, Mirror Screen, as well as a Safety Pack consisting of lane departure warning system, "Coffee Break" alert and road sign recognition.

The new Citroën C3 will arrive in French dealerships in the weeks following the closing of the Paris Motor Show.
