Audi RS5 v BMW M4 v Mercedes-AMG C63S Drag and Rolling Race

Which is faster? Let’s find out

Here's the dream triad, waiting to go down the quarter mile for your entertainment. Who's gonna win?

The guys from Carwow decided that they need some drag racing in their lives, so they invited Paul Wallace, from Supercars of London fame, in his BMW M4, to join their drag fest along an Audi RS5 and a Mercedes-AMG C63 S.

Now, on paper, there should be an easy winner, as our car comparison shows: the Merc-AMG C63 S has a 4-liter V8 under the hood, developing 503 hp (510 PS) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque, while the (much more expensive) BMW M4 has a 3-liter inline six able to deliver 453 hp (460 PS) and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. Meantime, the Audi RS5 seems like a lost cause: it has the smallest engine of the three, a 2.9-liter V6 delivering `only` 443 hp (450 PS) and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque.

However, there's a catch. The Audi is the only one to boast 4×4 traction. Would the quattro system make the difference on the quarter mile? Let's find out:
