Audi’s RS 5 Coupé has nothing to prove in video trio

If you ever wanted to see an Audi going against a dragster, this is your chance

For the record, the RS 5 Coupé versus dragster thing is just Audi's way of suggesting the latest RS product won't lose sleep over the opinions of others.

And it shouldn't, at least theoretically and if we have a look at the spec sheet. A brand new 2.9-liter bi-turbo TFSI V6 puts 450 hp and 600 Nm (442.5 lb-ft) in the hands of Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system.

Further down the list, you'll find a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) enhance-able via the RS dynamic pack to 280 km/h (174 mph).

Stopping power comes from a team of ceramic brakes while handling should score high thanks to a sport-tuned differential.

Then again, we'll wait for the chance to drive the new RS 5 Coupé and see if it can live up to its name.

The three videos, however, could use more spice. Just our two cents.
