Audi Sharpens Up the TT with New S Line Competition Edition

The special series brings both styling and chassis tweaks

Available for both the TT Coupe and TT Roadster, the S Line Competition pack brings both styling and suspension tweaks for sharper looks and handling characteristics.

Going on sale from the end of 2016 in Europe, the Audi TT S Line Competition stands out from regular TT models thanks to its upgraded exterior and interior. On the outside, it gets a high-gloss black finish for a number of elements including the Singleframe grille, the blade at the front, the mirror caps, the diffuser, and the standard fixed rear wing.

Other exterior design highlights include the black chrome finish for the exhaust pipes, gloss-black 19-inch alloys with a five-spoke blade design, red-painted brake calipers, as well as a choice of four exterior colors including the new Ara Blue hue.

Inside, TT S Line Competition models feature S sport seats with standard electrically adjustable lumbar supports, a flat-bottomed leather steering wheel, standard Audi virtual cockpit, leather and Alcantara upholstery, matt brushed aluminum trim and more.

Audi also upgraded the performance of the TT S Line Competition by giving it a sport suspension with firm spring/damper settings that lowers the ride height by 10 mm (0.4 in) compared with the standard model. The Audi drive select is standard as well.

The special edition model offers a single engine choice, the 2.0-liter TFSI engine with 230 PS (227 hp) with either standard front-wheel drive or optional quattro all-wheel drive. Transmission options include a standard six-speed manual or an optional S tronic for the FWD model and the S tronic for the quattro version.

Prices in Germany start from €41,940 for the TT Coupé S Line Competition and €44,340 for the roadster version.
