Be careful not to lose Mileage points for nothing in Gran Turismo Sport

Check your garage before spending points for special cars

I am now working on the Gran Turismo Sport video review (which you’ll soon on our YouTube channel), and I encountered an unfortunate situation regarding the Mileage points transactions.

I’ve been looking at this aggressive-looking blue Chevrolet Corvette listed as a good offer in the Mileage exchange shop, as it is 50% off, so I can buy it with only 2,500 Mileage points. I visit the Mileage exchange market periodically, so I wasn’t sure if I already bought it or not, but I knew I thought about buying it.

Being lazy af, I didn’t want to bother going into my garage and check but I relied on the game not letting me buy a car I already have. I tested my theory by trying to buy a rim design twice, and the game didn’t let me, prompting a message that says I already have this item in my inventory, so to say. Gooood.

So I went back to the blue Corvette and bought it, THEN went to my garage only to see that now I have two special Corvettes.

Now to the really annoying part. If you want to sell your gift cars, just know this: you can’t. I kind of understand this, it’s a cheating countermeasure, but I don’t understand why the game let me buy the same car twice, spending my hard-earned Mileage points. I hope this is just a bug that’s going to be fixed.
