Bentley Flying Spur Design Series by Mulliner is limited, exclusive

The limited run model offers exclusive exterior and interior tweaks

Bentley has unveiled a new limited edition model, the Flying Spur Design Series by Mulliner.

As the name reveals, the sedan has received the Mulliner touch, with the bespoke division offering an array of exterior and interior styling upgrades.

Available in a production run of 100 units, the Flying Spur Design Series can be ordered with five interior and exterior accent color splits — Mandarin, Pillar Box Red, White, Kingfisher and Azure Purple.

The model is available with any of the four powertrains available in the Flying Spur lineup: V8, W12, V8 S and W12 S.

The automaker says the limited edition model targets "the Bentley driver who seeks a more extreme, bespoke interpretation of the performance-oriented sedan." Each car features bright-colored fine lines around the lower part of the body that converge on the front bumper, as well as LED Welcome Lamps that reflect the word "Mulliner" on the ground.

Customers who opt for the range-topping W12 S model also get black bezels around the headlights and grille, as well as gloss black 21-inch alloys.

The interior sports fine leather detailing in bold colors, as well as new materials and finishes. The perforated hide that covers the leather seats reveals a secondary color underneath echoing the striking color accents, while the steering wheel features a 12 o'clock stripe.

Other bespoke interior elements include the quilted leather on the seat bolsters and door inserts, as well as Piano Black finish for the center console. And, for the first time in the automotive industry, Mulliner has used Titanium-enriched carbon fiber on the waist rails and fascia panel.
