BMW M2 CSL Isn’t Real, But if It Was It’d Look Like This

We absolutely love it, right down to the last stripe of its livery

We’d like to thank Monholo Oumar for coming up with this delicious-looking BMW M2 CSL. The automaker hasn’t made one and probably never will, but it’s fun to pretend in this instance.

In his interpretation, the car gets a body kit with a massive retro-inspired spoiler on the back, it looks lower and has bigger rims which look like they’ve been borrowed from the M4 GTS. The designer didn’t stop at imagining just the exterior, and also went and removed the rear part of the interior which he replaced with a stunning looking gold-painted roll cage – it goes well with the gold rims it rides on, as well as some of the dashboard trim bits.

If BMW did make an M2 CSL, it’d probably give it a slight power hike, so we’d see it make probably just under 400 hp. This combined with the lower weight this’d be intended to have would dramatically improve performance and drivability, especially on the track, as is the case with other GTS-badged BMWs.
