The game that redefined arcade action makes a much-welcome comeback

Ten years ago, EA and Criterion released the fifth title in the Burnout series, Paradise. Thanks to its action-packed nature and crash modes, the Paradise remains one of the most open-world arcade games to date. And it now gets a refresh.

Burnout Paradise Remastered will be available for console users starting March 16, promising 4K and 60fps on the PlayStation 4 Pro/Xbox One X. The release date for PC isn’t disclosed yet. As EA states on the game’s official page, Burnout Paradise receives “a complete graphics overhaul, with high-resolution textures and a range of technical enhancements designed to deliver all the high-octane chaos with an almost irresponsible level of visual fidelity.”

The Remastered comes with all eight add-ons subsequently released, so youțll get not only a better-looking Burnout Paradise but also a full one, Big Surf Island included. There are 150 vehicles (cars and bikes) to race in various challenges, both off- and online. The online mode can host up to eight players at the same time, so you can bring mayhem upon your friends.
