You don’t need a man-eating Mustang to be a public menace
Last month, a 19-year-old driver exited a cars & coffee event in a very original and dangerous manner. He fishtailed his Dodge Charger while making a right 90-degree turn, getting dangerously close to a crowd.
As it can be seen in the video below, some of the bystanders had to take evasive action to avoid being run over, Tennessee Police Department stated.
The video was also used by the PD to help identify the 19yo as Tahj Turnley and proceed to arrest him under the charge of reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon.
As Jalopnik reports, Turnley is out after paying a $5,500 bail but is set for a hearing first week of May. Cars & coffee events started as socialization context for car lovers but are gaining more and more shade due to this kind of events.
