Citroën C4 Cactus Gets OneTone Special Edition, Six-Speed Auto

Something tells us the all-black version will be the most successful

Citroën found a way to make its quirky hatchback/crossover attract even more attention with the C4 Cactus OneTone special edition.

As the name suggests, this new trim has all the exterior features painted in the same color, targeting customers "looking for an even more elegant finish with fewer visual contrasts."

The C4 Cactus OneTone offers three color combinations for the body, Airbumps, and alloy wheels. The first is Pearlescent Perle White, Dune Airbump, and Cross 17-inch two-tone white alloy wheels, followed by Pearlescent Shark Grey, Grey Airbump, and Cross 17-inch two-tone alloys, and finally, Metallic Obsidien Black, Black Airbump, and Cross 17-inch black wheels.

Our favorite is the all-black version, which gives the C4 Cactus a sinister look. Based on the well-equipped Shine trim level, OneTone models add a reversing camera, mixed grained leather/cloth upholstery (Stone Grey, Habana Inside, or Purple Inside), heated front seats, and protective floor mats.

Citroën has also updated the C4 Cactus lineup with the EAT6 six-speed automatic transmission, offered in combination with the PureTech 110 S&S turbocharged 1.2-liter gasoline engine. The gearbox comes with a new-generation converter developed by Aisin that is said to provide fast, smooth gear changes.

Drivers can select one of two transmission modes – "Sport" for a more dynamic driving style, and "Snow" for easier startup and better traction in low-grip conditions.

Prices for the C4 Cactus OneTone start from €22,100 in France for the base model fitted with the PureTech 110 S&S engine and manual transmission – €23,500 for the EAT6 automatic with the same powertrain.
