And struggles a lot

You know the Dodge Demon very well by now and, of course, the Lamborghini Huracán needs no introduction as well. So let’s see how these two fare against each other in a three-episode drag race.

Before we get to the gist of it, here’s a little info on the cars. According to the video, the Demon – on his full name 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon – relies on the standard 6.2-liter supercharged V8 making 840 hp but adds a race ECU to the mix, together with a race air filter and 100 octane fuel. Plus, its rear drag radials were swapped for a pair of Mickey Thompson tires. In this combo, the Demon weighs 4,280 lb.

The Lamborghini Huracán, on the other hand, is a LP610-4 from 2016 which means its 5.2-liter V10 makes 602 hp (610 PS if you wish). The Italian is also lighter as it tips the scales at just 3,552 lb.

Both cars use rear-wheel drive, but the Demon has an eight-speed gearbox while the Huracán relies on a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

On that note, we'd expected a whole lot more from the limited-run Demon. See what’s what below.
