After the Driving Experience event at the Vallelunga circuit (on March 2nd, 2018) where you could see Marco Wittmann's BMW M4 DTM's new livery, BMW is now showing us all the six different layouts the DTM M4s will be dressed in on the track.
In case you don't know what you're looking at, and why, here, we'll let BMW explain the job: "The modern, dynamic look was implemented individually for each BMW M4 DTM and customized to suit the car. The matt black element on the driver’s side of the bonnet and the V-shaped transition to the rear make for a unique recognition value," says the official press release.
Truth is, we kind of liked the former outfits as well; we're here just for one more glance at the sheer beauty a DTM championship carved into the body of these M4s. If you're here for the same reason, head up to the photo gallery and start browsing.
The M4 DTM will fight the Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM and Audi RS5 DTM in the 2018 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters championship starting May 5th at Hockenheim.
This season is noted for a series of reasons, not one of them great: the DTM will ditch the naturally-aspirated V8s in favor of turbocharged inline-fours. This will be Mercedes' final season in DTM (after a 19-year-long participation) as it'll switch to Formula E championship.
