Truth be told, we didn’t expect anything else from the Evoque

Land Rover’s brand-new Range Rover Evoque bags a perfect score during Euro NCAP’s crash tests.

The stylish SUV scored 94% in the adult occupant safety area, which is the highest score ever obtained by a Jaguar or Land Rover.

Moreover, child occupant protection was rated at 87%, so the new Evoque follows in the footsteps of its peers – Velar and Discovery.

As some of you know by now, the new Range Rover Evoque is underpinned by the Premium Transverse Architecture which is complemented by a suite of safety features – Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Front and Rear Parking Aid plus a rear camera. But this is just the standard bundle.

Customers can further specify the likes of Park Assist, Rear Traffic Monitor, Clear Exit Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Assist, and High Speed Emergency Braking.

As far as vulnerable road users are concerned, the Evoque scored 72%, while the above gimmicks helped it attain a 73% rating in the safety assist section.
