Europeans Spend 4 Years In a Car During Their Life, Survey Shows

We don’t even know if this is good news or bad news

Citroen wants to take a look at the automotive life from a different angle, so it did a survey regarding motorists' lives.

Although we sense there's more to that than just "Citroen wanting to know more" about us, car users, the survey (carried out by CSA Research) revealed some interesting findin.

For example, we Europeans spend a lot of time in our cars, driving and being driven. In all that time, we have about 2,000 lunches in the cabin, we shave or/and put make-up (1,234 times), or laugh uncontrollably for 170 occasions, like the wonderful creatures we are.

We also see things, study claims, 225 surprising, curious, abnormal things, although I don't know what's that supposed to mean. A UFO? A BMW with its turn indicators on? I don't know.

But I do know (now, after reading this survey) that the Italians are making sweet love in their cars more often (8 times) than the British or the French (3.4 times), par example.

How I see it – this is a brief, fun reminder that we must put more heart into choosing a car, for that they are part of our lives. Or that we shouldn't be so scared of the autonomous technology, as that will allow us to do even more stuff, like playing a video game while being moved towards the office.

I guess we're going to find out the reasons behind this survey soon, as Citroen will make an appearance at the Paris Motor Show.
