It’s also built in accordance to its newfound purpose. Its makers welded it to an M1009 military chassis and threw in a 5.7-liter V8 engine connected to an automatic gearbox. The ad also mentions a rebuilt bulletproof NP205 transfer case plus Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear axles.
The rear bombshell, however, is the asking price: a cool $28,000. What’s more, Carscoops reports that the initial sticker was $30,000 and as it’s also specified in the ad, the owner thought a lower price might increase the chances of selling the contraption.
