Not that there’s anything wrong with that

Farming Simulator and Far Cry are two very different games, focusing on different things but the first thing that came to mind while watching the FS19 announcement trailer is that this is a farm-themed Far Cry 5.

Giant Software and Focus Home Interactive promise a big step forward with the Farming Simulator 19, the game’s visuals being the most noticeable upgrade, as Martin Rabl (from Giants) stated in a recent blog post. Farming Simulator 19 will come with a “complete overhaul of its graphics engine, offering the most striking and immersive visuals and effects, along with the deepest and most complete farming experience ever,” Mr. Rabl said.

The players will have three different open-world setups in which to develop their farms, in solo or co-op mode. The graphics won’t be, however, the game’s only selling point: Farming Simulator 19 gets better in nearly every aspect, vehicle lineup included. It will be the franchise’s most expensive vehicle roster ever. Besides the new “big” brands, the FS19 worlds will feature new animals, farm activities, and crops.

It seems like this fall will be quite fruitful.
