Ferrari-powered Toyota GT4586 can drift with plenty of theatrics

Engine roar, smoke and tires screeching, but mostly engine roar

This Toyota GT86 is not a Toyota anymore. Not since it hides a naturally-aspirated Ferrari 458 V8.

The newfound power reserves are so confidence boosting that the Toyota GT4586 dared to mock a Ferrari in a donut brawl.

Ryan Tuerck and the guys over at Gumout (the masterminds behind the project) turned it into the gearhead Santa's sleigh last Christmas, but something was missing from the picture. Oh, yeah, the drift bit.

Well, solved. With the same Ryan Tuerck spinning the wheel and pushing the pedals, the bonkers Toyota stepped on the asphalt at Formula Drift Orlando.

What ensued was an intoxicating orchestra backed up by a chorus of demons. Mechanical ones, that is. Our only complaint is that the video is too short.
