The Prancing Horse’s 70th anniversary lived up to its name
We already established that Bugatti's stand within Lord March's estate in Goodwood was oozing horsepower and record-setting cars. But Ferrari's birthday party went way beyond that.
Led by the LaFerrari Aperta, Ferrari's convoy of road and race cars flooded the hillclimb at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed. And we're glad they managed to steal the show.
Some of the models that went sprinting past hay bales included the 488 GTE, 599XX, FXX K, F60 and F1-90 but also the rare Class 250, represented by the likes of 250 MM Spider, 250 GT Berlinetta Tour de France, 250 GTO and 250 GT Coupe Speciale Pininfarina. All mouth-watering chefs d'oeuvre from a long gone era of the automotive world.
Equally impressive is the driver line-up, which included the names of Derek Bell, Jackie Stewart and Dario Franchitti.
