Something to wash away those WRC 7 memories

Little was known about V-Rally 4 upon its announcement trailer, except for what the clip showed us: a racing game featuring licensed vehicles, unfolding on various surfaces. Here it is:

Now thanks to Team VVV’s Alan Boiston — who played V-Rally 4 in its current developing state at E3 2018 — we know a bit more about the upcoming racing title. The most important thing: definitely not an arcade racer.

As Alan puts it, it’s rather a simcade (the blend between arcade and simulation racing) although V-Rally 4 definitely has the simulation genes, as this first gameplay video shows.

It’s too soon to talk about the graphics, cars, and tracks, although the game looks pretty neat as it is. But we guess the people at Bigben Interactive and Kylotonn Racing Games have plenty of things to put in order before the September initial release.
