Brabus has a fitting world debut for this year's Dubai Motor Show: a sinister-looking SUV with golden highlights and 850 horsepower.

The German aftermarket specialist and exclusive footwear designer Jon Buscemi are kicking off their collaboration with a heavily modified Mercedes-AMG G 63.

Called the Brabus 850 Buscemi Edition, the souped-up SUV features a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 850 hp at 5,400 rpm and 1,450 Nm (1,069 lb-ft) between 2,500 and 4,500 rpm. Connected to the Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic transmission, the mighty powerplant propels the 2,550-kg off-roader from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 260 km/h (162 mph).

The vehicle is not just proof bricks can go faster than supercars — it's also a showcase of opulence. Jon Buscemi set out to customize the design of the black SUV and applied golden highlights on the body, wheels, and throughout the cabin.

He also chose red stitching, edging and piping for the black Brabus Mastik leather, as well as 23-inch Brabus Monoblock "Platinum Edition" forged wheels with golden undercuts and golden brake calipers. Each vehicle comes with two pairs of Buscemi sneakers custom-designed for the car, as well as tailor-made Brabus Buscemi Edition luggage.

The Brabus 850 also features the Widestar body kit for added visual muscle as well as an array of carbon fiber parts. The list of goodies is impossibly long and includes a two-way adjustable Brabus Ride Control suspension with automatic damper adjustment, black Alcantara starry sky headliner, a high-end sound system, individual seats at the back with integrated ventilation/heating and center console, and much more.
