This time, it’s a night race in Macau

Ride 3 is one of this year’s most awaited titles in the gaming world, and by the looks of it, it’s worth the wait.

The latest sample shows us a night race on a street circuit in Macau, one of the “craziest and breathtaking tracks of the world” that will be found in the Ride 3. If it wouldn’t be so painfully short. I guess we’ll have to wait for the full thing in order to enjoy it to the max.

On the bright side, the wait is not that long. Ride 3 is scheduled to debut on November 8, 2018, on all three major platforms: Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Unlike the MotoGP series, Ride focuses on street vehicles as well, all the action happening in a simcade-style environment. When it comes to bike games, the offers are mostly racing sims.

So the devs at Milestone need to take this into consideration if they want to please the majority, and come up with something better (physics- and controls-wise) than the previous title.

Besides the racing circuits, Ride 3 promises some amazing scenic routes, recreated using photogrammetry, the technology through which you can make measurements from photographs. One of those routes is the Strada della Forra, a twisty path around Italy’s Lake Garda.

All looks beautiful so far; so beautifully, actually, that we’re genuinely interested in the game — and we’re not even fine connoisseurs of the two-wheel phenomenon like our colleagues at DriveMag Riders.
