Ken Block’s Climbkhana stunt airs next Monday

It’s been teased before, but now things look dead serious

They say there’s no rest for the wicked and one good example to illustrate it is Ken Block. Especially since the Gymkhana man is looking at other disciplines that can end with the –khana suffix.

So far, we’ve had the ever-popular Gymkhana and more recently Terrakhana, but as of last year, Mr. Block has been keen to coin another term: Climbkhana.

Just like the name suggest, it involves a deviated form of hillclimb spiced up with powerlisdes and most likely curtains of smoke taking place at Pikes Peak. Yes, that Pikes Peak.

We also know for sure that Ken Block will use an imbued version of its Hoonicorn Mustang suggestively named V2.

Packing 1,400 hp coming from a twin-turbo 6.7-liter V8 (that initially provided 845 hp to help the Hoonicorn’s cause), Ken Block’s methanol-drinking weapon of choice has been going through intensive testing sessions.

The result, as the man himself puts it, is terrifying and it’s best described by the video below and the pictures in the photo gallery. Also below you’ll find last year’s Pikes Peak teaser.
