Try to ignore the confusing camouflage
Right, so the J next to the SV marks the top level of hardcoreness Lamborghini infuses in a given model. But the Aventador SVJ is not just about the moniker.
Top Gear got up close and personal with the Aventador SVJ and were able to provide some interesting insights about the soon-to-debut Raging Bull.
First of all, and you already knew that, we suspect, the Aventador SVJ will rely on the same 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12, but it will send power to all four wheels via a sequential manual gearbox.
Speaking of power, the figure mentioned in the video is 770 hp. But in addition to that, Lamborghini solved the front axle’s asphalt-biting problem by fitting the SVJ with their trademark ALA active aerodynamics also present on the Huracán Performante. In return, the SVJ generates around 190 kg worth of downforce up front.
The rear topography is also changed by the addition of a new, larger air scoop and the menacing wing.
Hooked already? Good, because there’s plenty more stuff to discover in the video below.
