Lamborghini Centenario Looks Scary in First Dynamic Video

And still we can’t look away…

We’ve been waiting to see some track footage with the Lamborghini Centenario ever since the limited edition supercar debuted at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

Our wish has finally come true, as Lamborghini has released the first dynamic footage with its 759 hp (770 PS) monster. The video was shot during a media drive event that took place on the Nardò test track in Italy, where journalists had the chance to put the range-topping Lamborghini through its paces.

Watching the mean-looking Centenario on the track is a spectacular sight that can only be rivaled by the brutal sound of the 6.5-liter V12 engine – Lamborghini’s most powerful naturally-aspirated V12 ever.

As a reminder, the Centenario marks 100 years since the birth of company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini and 50 years since the launch of the legendary Miura. Its performance is ballistic, with the 0 to 100 km/h sprint taking just 2.8 seconds and top speed exceeding 350 km/h (217 mph).

Lamborghini will build just 40 units of the Centenario: 20 coupés and 20 roadsters. Despite a pre-tax price of €1.75 million ($1.96 million) per unit, the entire production run has already been sold.
